Another great year at PPMA 2019!

ULMA attended the PPMA exhibition in Birmingham again this year to show off the latest innovations. With sustainability the hot topic, ULMA's packaging machines were at the forefront of technology heavily investing in research and development.

It's always great to see customers old and new at exhibitions and PPMA 2019 didn't disappoint. This year ULMA showcased one of their latest innovations the TFS 200 MSV thermoformer which offers 3 pack styles in one machine. Click here to hear Ed Williams, our Sales Director, explaining more.

Another firm favourite causing lots of interest in the packaging industry is the vertical bagger, which had the venturi and tight bag system. Venturi uses air to pull the product right to the bottom of the bag thus using less packaging and avoiding product getting stuck in the seal so less re-work.  The patented Tight Bag system removes excess air from packaging meaning reduced transport costs as more packs per crate are possible.
